Longan is a Thai fruit that is also called “dragon’s eye”: small in size, it has a dense thin peel, under which lies a watery white pulp, reminiscent of grape, with a smooth large bone.
The fruit has a delicate berry flavor, a rich, healthy composition, however, it is poorly kept fresh. Dried longan does not contain sugar, but retains all the beneficial properties and taste of fresh fruit.
